Your Summit Republican City Committee

The SRCC’s mission is to promote the principles of the Republican Party in Summit though active involvement in  local activities, including support of Republican candidates for office, sponsoring events that facilitate open discussion of important political issues, promotion of the party and its principals, organization of political events, and monthly meetings to discuss relevant issues.
The Republican Party seeks to give “power to the people” by limiting government intrusion, while at the same time promoting individual and social responsibility.
Specifically, the SRCC advocates keeping taxes low, encouraging businesses to invest in Summit, finding market solutions to reduce energy consumption, focusing on common sense, pro-education policies to keep the Summit school system among the best in the State, supporting our troops (particularly those from Summit serving overseas), and promoting efforts to keep Summit safe and secure for all its residents.
