To My Family and Friends,
I am writing to share some exciting news; I have decided to seek the nomination as a Ward One candidate for Summit Common Council in 2017! Patti and I have lived in Summit our entire lives, and have raised our four sons here. We love Summit, and have a vested interest in keeping our city strong. I am fortunate to have worked in Summit as a police officer for 28 years, retiring as Captain a few years ago. This experience and knowledge will be invaluable on Council.
I am committed to volunteerism, currently serving as the Chair of the Summit Republican City Committee. I have also served as Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, volunteered as a coach for the Summit Junior Baseball league for over 18 years, served three years on the Summit Planning Board and I am a Life member of the Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad in addition to volunteering on numerous boards and committees in town. I will strive to increased traffic and pedestrian safety throughout the town; continue to push for continued excellence in our schools and lobby our legislators in Trenton to fix the broken school funding formula. I will always back fiscal responsibility to keep Summit affordable. I look forward to meeting with all of you in the coming weeks.
